ADOR Public Hearing Notice - July 11 and July 12 rule hearings

June 18, 2012—The Alabama Department of Revenue (ADOR) will hold rule hearings at 10 a.m. and at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, and on Thursday, July 12, 2012, at its central office in Montgomery.  Eight ADOR rules are proposed for adoption, amendment, or repeal as needed to comply with recent law changes or new guidelines or procedures. 

The hearings will be held in the Alabama Department of Revenue Legal Division’s conference room, located at 3114 Gordon Persons Building, 50 North Ripley Street, Montgomery, Ala.  Hearing dates, times, and proposed rule actions are detailed below.

810-3-73-.01 Withholding Exemption Certificates, proposed for amendment.

810-5-1-.227.07 Memorandum of Understanding between the Alabama Department of Environmental Management and the Alabama Department of Revenue,  proposed for repeal.

810-5-12-.05 Evidence of Liability Insurance for Licensed Motor Vehicle Dealers, Motor Vehicle Reconditioners, Motor Vehicle   Rebuilders, and Motor Vehicle Wholesalers, proposed for adoption.

810-8-5-.06 Evidence of Liability Insurance for Motor Vehicle Dealers, Motor Vehicle Reconditioners, Motor Vehicle Rebuilders, or Motor Vehicle Wholesalers, proposed for repeal.
