Interview Do's and Don'ts

So, what should you do?

First off dress for success!

For Women:

Tailored suits with a knee-length skirt or tailored pants

Closed-toe shoes with conservative heel

Conservative nail polish and makeup. *fragrances not recommended

Simple jewelry if at all

For Men:

Ties with tailored suits and pants

Collared and pressed shirts

Shoes should be shined and either brown or black with an oxford or wingtip style

Well, before you dress up you should research the company. (in your pj's if you want:)

Find out about press releases, company culture, values, and management profiles. It's recommended that you follow the company on Google Alerts which emails you when there is a news story comes out about the company.

You should review the position description and list at least 5 reasons you are the BEST fit for this position and the company. Consider your top 5 strengths and how they can be used the position offered and how they have helped you in the past.
