About the IT Task Force
The newly approved IT Task Force is already hard at work developing projects to serve the Alabama Society of CPAs.
Our goal is to create a front line technology resource for ASCPA officers, members, committees, and staff.
The members are Ron Box, Keith Barfield, Roger Hornberger, Lisa Kianoff, Tim Smith, Jeannine Birmingham and Dianne Christy.
Members were selected to mirror the diversity of the ASCPA membership in industry, practice and location.
The IT task force meetings have been conducted entirely via web conference utilizing video cameras. This meeting format has not only produced instant results, it has saved precious travel time and money. The meetings have focused on recruiting, goal refinement, and implementation of collaboration and communication tools.
The comittee would like to thank Jeannine for her progressive action in allowing this committee to form. Thank you to Dianne Christy for her recruiting support and to Shanna Jackson for opening up our Web Communications.
